Down Syndrome Association Events

The Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads sponsors events each year to provide opportunities for education, awareness and just plain fun!
Special events are coordinated to promote our association within the community, and raise funds for various programs and services.

Exceptional Family Member Program - (EFMP) - Support Group for military families with a special needs family member. Meetings are held every other Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Endependence Center, 6300 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. in Norfolk. For more information contact LaDene @ 460-1236 or Rene @ 340-1750. Nancy McCullough Memorial Golf Tournament - Friday - May 12th, 2006 Come join us for this years annual golf torunament and fund raiser. Again the format is "Best Ball" and this year's tournament will be held at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk. Registration begins at 7:00 am with a 'shotgun start' at 7:30 am.
